Further information
Quite a common garden escape or relic of cultivation. Was used both medicinally and as a pot-herb. There are claims of many medicinal uses, in the 19th century, Irish folklore suggested that bathing in a solution of tansy and salts would cure joint pain. As a herb, it was formerly used for flavouring drisheen ( black pudding).
