Identification

  • Medium sized solitary species (10-12mm)
  • Females have grey/blonde hairs on the thorax and upper abdomen and dense red hairs on the under surface of the abdomen
  • Males are generally smaller and do not have red hairs on the under surface of the abdomen
  • Could be confused with M. centuncularis
