One of three swan species that occur in Ireland, but the only one seen year round. Large white wetland bird with long neck and orange bill. 

Habitat

Commonly found breeding in lakes and rivers, including parks.

Found throughout the island, but absent from areas lacking open water, such as agricultural land and peatlands.
